Kadhalai Tamilgun New! — Kanden

Released in 2009, Kanden Kadhalai (transl. "I Found the Love") was a significant film in Tamil cinema for two reasons. First, it was the official remake of the Bollywood blockbuster Jab We Met (2007). Second, it marked the debut of the late, beloved actor in a full-fledged romantic lead role opposite the charming Bharathi (now known as Bindu Madhavi). Directed by R. Kannan and produced by UTV Motion Pictures, the film was praised for its vibrant visuals, a hit musical score by Vidyasagar, and Jeeva’s energetic, career-best performance.
