Directed by Santosh S. (known for his work on other ULLU crime dramas), Dunali Part 2 benefits from a higher production budget than its predecessor. The cinematography by Ravi Shankar is noteworthy. While Part 1 had a yellowish, dusty hue typical of rural noirs, adopts a cooler, blue-grey palette, reflecting the protagonist’s cold quest for vengeance.
