CEMU 1.27.1 didn't invent asynchronous shaders (async compile), but it perfected the pipeline. Previous versions suffered from "hitching" – every time a new shader was needed, the entire emulation thread stalled.
Folder structure mismatch. Fix: Cemu 1.27.1 requires the meta.xml file to be in [GameDir]/meta/ . Use the File → Install Game Updates/DLC option – do not manually copy files. cemu 1.27.1
