Vectric Aspire 11.5 — Quick Guide Overview Vectric Aspire 11.5 is CNC design and routing software for 2D, 2.5D and 3D modeling, toolpathing, and production. This guide covers installation, key workflows, common settings, and troubleshooting to get you productive quickly.

1) Installation & Licensing

Download installer for your OS from Vectric's official Downloads page. Run installer and follow prompts. Start Aspire, choose “Activate a new copy” and enter your product key (from Vectric account or retailer). Optionally create/sign into a Vectric account to manage licenses and downloads. Install any available post-release updates/patches via Help > Check for Updates.

2) Workspace & Interface Essentials

Job Setup panel: set material size (X, Y), thickness (Z), and origin (corner or center). Viewport: 2D (Top) & 3D Preview tabs — toggle as needed. Toolpaths tab: create and manage cut strategies. Tool Database: manage cutters (diameter, flute count, speeds, feeds). Import: File > Import for bitmaps, vectors (DXF, SVG), and 3D objects (STL). Layers/Groups: organize vector geometry for different toolpaths.

3) Basic Workflow (Typical Project)

New Job: File > New — set material dimensions and units. Import/Draw Vectors: vectric aspire 115 updated

Import SVG/DXF or use drawing tools (rectangle, polyline, text). Use Node editing and Align tools to refine shapes.

Create 2D Vectors → Toolpath:
