This hotfix addresses an unintended interaction with the “Rune of the False Heart” (acquired from the cryptic vessel in the Arch Abbey). Previously, this rune allowed players to bypass a key lore check in the “Rise of P” ending path.

Since this is a server-side hotfix, there is no download. However, you can check if you are on the new version:

: Following its "shadow drop," a hotfix (Version 1.9.0.0) was released to address player complaints about the "Legendary Stalker" difficulty.

If you have been dying to Simon Manus or Laxasia despite having high defense Runes equipped, this hotfix is likely the reason.
