Focusing on the release of Bengali-dubbed series such as the hypothetical Black Money -2025 , the study analyzes how piracy bypasses legal distribution channels, deprives governments of tax revenue, and funnels illicit earnings to operators. Using a mixed-method approach (content analysis of piracy websites, revenue estimation models, and legal framework review), the paper estimates that such sites in South Asia collectively generate approximately $400–600 million annually in black income. The conclusion proposes a multi-stakeholder enforcement and digital literacy strategy to curb this shadow economy.
