As of late 2025, BMW is rolling out software with Secure Coding 2.0. This blocks all known ENET injection methods. The developers behind HU Tool are reportedly working on a V3.0 that uses a direct LCM bootloader exploit. However, V2.6 Full Unlimited will remain relevant for all cars produced before mid-2024.
