Sometime in early 2017, a user with the handle @Cinephile_Volgograd uploaded a 1080p rip of Malady , sourced directly from a promotional screener DVD. The file was titled simply: Malady 2015 .

The story takes a dark turn when Matthew is summoned home to care for his own ailing mother, (Jill Connick). Holly accompanies him, only to find herself trapped in a nightmarish domestic reality.
