Unlike the drier technical focus of Dotzauer or the early virtuosic demands of Popper, Francesconi sits between Sebastian Lee (melodic, early intermediate) and Feuillard (very systematic). Volume 1 is easier than Suzuki Cello School Vol. 2 in terms of shifting but similar in musical appeal.
